M&A Advisor/Investment Banker

Orion Capital Group is seeking an experienced investment banker or other professional with extensive mergers & acquisitions experience to handle an anticipated increase in deal flow. Despite the slow economy, our business is expecting to remain strong in 2009 because of our newly added Distressed Business Practice, intellectual property practice and increased deal activity within our size range (up to $50 million).

We are looking for someone that is willing to handle deal work and business development. Compensation will be based on performance and so we are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in:

-obtaining both sell-side and buy-side clients
-pitching to private equity groups and corporate executives
-negotiating deal terms
-evaluating corporate documents and financials
-closing deals
-networking with other professional service providers

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
-At least five years M&A experience
-High level of accounting knowledge
-High level of contracts and corporate document comprehension
-Technology background is highly preferred
